About Just Be…

“In a world where you can be anything, be yourself.” – Etta Turner

This is the general concept behind Just Be…Happy. Healthy. You. My hope is to inspire people to be happy with how they are, where they are, and overall, with who they are. Because that is what my goal is, for myself. The three objectives, Happy, Healthy, and You, will each have their own focus:

Happy

Happiness can mean many things. And many things can make you happy.

One subcategory will be about my love of food. I enjoy cooking, baking, and eating, of course! My current goal is to focus on more whole foods, limited ingredient items, and making better choices all around. However, in the interest of full disclosure, you will also be seeing some posts about some not-so-good-for-you foods (because, pizza)

Norcal Eats will be focused on sharing with you the restaurants I favor, along with some new ones I’d like to try.

As for the subcategory, adventures, my hope is to travel a little more, whether that consists of going out of state, or a simple day trip. I definitely enjoy seeing new places and just breaking the normal routine, every once in awhile.

Healthy

This objective may be a little obvious, but I felt the need to explain further.

Recently I chose to start focusing, wholeheartedly, on my mental health. I would like to utilize this platform to not only share my journey in becoming the best version of myself, but to advocate for all the others who suffer with mental illness.

I also have a goal to shed some of these extra pounds! My hope is to document the roller coaster ride that is weight loss.

You

Ironically, I am using You to explore more about me. I really enjoying writing, and I would love to share some of the creative pieces I’m working on. I also plan on making reading a habit and would like to create a reading list, and review each book as I go. Also, to go along with reviews, I figured I could throw in some some awesome products I enjoy.

I am sure that each category, and subcategory, will grow as the blog does, but the concept will always stay the same; to just be happy, healthy, and the best you.
