NorCal Eats: True Food Kitchen (TBT)

As some of you may have seen on social media, I had oral surgery earlier this week which has kept me laying low (and not worrying too much about blog content) However, I figured this would be a perfect time to post [another] Throwback Thursday post to hold you over.

This was my review of True Food Kitchen in Walnut Creek, CA, last summer. Unfortunately we moved a little further away recently and can’t visit as much as I would like to. Honestly, to this day, I still crave their breakfast burrito (as described below)

NorCal Eats: The Butcher’s Son (TBT)

In honor of throwback Thursday (TBT), I wanted to share a post I wrote for my old blog, last year.

I no longer label myself a “vegan”, (I consume animal products, currently) But I still really enjoying eating plant-based and finding plant-based versions of non-vegan items.

I hope you enjoy this blast from the past!

Journey Coffee Company

About a year ago, while out in the Vacaville area to search for places to live (my husband and I moved to Vacaville almost 6 months ago from a town about 45 minutes away) I noticed the city showed great pride in their local establishments. The area we were moving from definitely was lacking in its enthusiasm for the community, and I was very drawn to the local’s fondness of their hometown.
